Summary of Contents: This map depicts the world of men (Skt. manuṣyaloka), with the “Rose-apple Tree continent” (Skt. Jambudvīpa) centred on the holy Mount Meru, surrounded by the sixteen provinces (Skt. videha) where humanity dwells. At each of the four angles is a Jain temple with worshippers to show that the Jinas' teachings are everywhere in the world.
