Incipit: [1r1] rthaniścaya iti yogaś ca yogo nāma svadevasya svātmātvenaivabhāvaneti gautamyām uktaḥ | aikyaṃ jīvātmanor āhur yogaṃ yogaviśāradāḥ | ity anyatrāpi ātmaprayatnasāpekṣāviśiṣtā yā manogatiḥ | tasyā brahmaṇi saṃyogo yoga ity abhidhīyate iti viṣṇupurāṇe ca | bhāvanā utpādanaṃ na tu jñānaṃ jīvātmanor jīvaparamātmanoḥ ātmaprayatnāyamaniyamādayaḥ tat sāpekṣā tat prayuktā viśiṣṭā
