History

Origin: A. D. 1771, 1626, 1625.

1 is dated on f. 26v: saṃvat 1827 ⟨1771⟩ mīti kārtikāvadi 12 |

2 is dated on f. 113: 1682 ⟨1626⟩ kārttikaśudī yaṃ bhaimaikāśyāṃ bhairavasaṃnidhau |

3 is dated on f. 165: saṃvat 1681 ⟨1625⟩ sake bhadravadī ṣaṣṭī śanau |

In the case of both 2 and 3 the date may be 1681 or 1682, the scribe making his ones and twos in a very similar manner. Bodl. catal., p. 379a, evidently reads 1681 both times, but 1682 is more probable in 2.
