though the date on the paper is different (here 1827, in MSS. Wilson 57–60 1825), though the style of the work varies somewhat (in this MS. the text is only given in part), yet the similarity in writing is sufficient to render it probable that this and MSS. Wilson 57–60 are by one hand.

History

Origin: A. D. 1827.

the date of the manufacture of the paper shows that the MS. must have been written either in or shortly after 1827, doubtless for H. H. Wilson, before he left India.

Provenance and Acquisition

The collection of Horace Hayman Wilson was purchased by the Bodleian Library in 1842.
