History

Origin: A. D. 1828.

because of the water-mark the MS. cannot have been written before 1828. Doubtless it was written in or soon after this year for H. H. Wilson, before he left India.

Provenance and Acquisition

The collection of Horace Hayman Wilson was purchased by the Bodleian Library in 1842.
