History

Origin: A. D. 1501.

f. 182v: saṃvat 1557 ⟨1501⟩ varṣe vaiśāṣasudi 15 guravāsare | The date is quite clear, and, as stated in the Bodl. catal., p. 382b, Weber’s 1610 is wrong.

Provenance and Acquisition

The collection of Horace Hayman Wilson was purchased by the Bodleian Library in 1842.
