A paper manuscript consisting of five separately foliated texts from the Mahābhārata and the Pañcaratna, bound together with six miniatures.

In good condition.
Layout
6 lines per page, approximately 20 akṣaras per line.
Details on frame: 6.5 × 12 cm. Framed with a ruled border in black, red, and yellow pigment. Initial page of each manuscript is framed with an additional but identical border.
Hand(s)
Devanāgarī in black and red ink. The scribe might be identical to the the scribe of MS. Mill 112.
F. 196 contains a manuscript note in black ink in modern hand, most likely of the cataloguer Theodor Aufrecht.
Marginal notes in a different hand.
Abbreviated marginal title on top-left margin, verso.
Binding
Late 19th century or early 20th-century brown leather binding over pasteboard, with title tooled in gold on the spine. Shelfmark number painted in white pigment on the spine. Cardboard cover box.

Provenance and Acquisition
The collections of William Hodge Mill were purchased by the Bodleian Library in 1849 and 1858.

F. 130v: Miniature depicting Viṣṇu lying on a serpent, with Lakṣmī massaging his feet, and Brahmā sitting on a lotus growing from Viṣṇu's navel. Framed in a yellow panel with pink and green lotus flowers.
