History

Origin: 1675 & 1678.

1 is dated on f. 66v: saṃvat 1731 ⟨1675⟩ varṣe kārttigavada 14 some samāptaḥ | 2 on f. 117: saṃvat 1734 (= a. d. 1678, but the 3 is doubtful) nā āśvanaśudī 3 budhe | This is only the date of the restoration; the original must be about 40–60 years older, while ff. 73–76 are conceivably older still.

Provenance and Acquisition

The collections of William Hodge Mill were purchased by the Bodleian Library in 1849 and 1858.
