Origin: 17th & 19th cent.?

125, ff. 1–52 are according to Bodl. catal., p. 396a, in writing of the 17th cent. The rest must be dated not before a. d. 1833 as the paper bears the water-mark of that date. On 126, f. 193, appears: saṃvat 17 | 18 | 91 | māse vaiśāṣe kṛṣṇapakṣe | See for this Weber, pp. viii, 1.

Provenance and Acquisition

according to notes on 125, f. 1, and 126, f. 194v, the first fifty-two leaves belonged to (1) Suṃdaraji bhaṭṭa, (2) Niśākara. Other names are deleted.

The collections of William Hodge Mill were purchased by the Bodleian Library in 1849 and 1858.
