History

Origin: 14th cent.?

probably latter half of 14th cent. (Dr.Hoernle). With this agrees the fact that the t is formed exactly as in the Cambridge MS. 1704 in Bendall’s Buddhist Sanskrit MSS. See the table at the end.

Bought in 1900 from Dr. A. F. R. Hoernle.
