History
Origin: 13th cent.?
Dr. Hoernle assigns it to the 13th century, but it may be earlier. Its letter-numerals correspond very closely to those of no. 1693, in Bendall, plate V, which is dated a. d. 1165, and the letters and style are similar to those of no. 1686, ibid., plate II, 3, though probably later.
