History
Origin: A. D. 1646 (?).
saṃvat 22 vaiśākhavadi caturdaśyāṃ | This would correspond to a. d. 1646, but the date was probably copied by the scribe from the original MS., for the appearance of the MS. is quite modern, both paper and writing being much like those of MS. Sansk. c. 70 (1164), which is dated a. d. 1882.
Provenance and Acquisition
Bought in 1887 from Dr. Eugen Hultzsch (MS. 175). Memorandum on original wrapper (f. ii), ‘K 59.’
