Incipit: [4] kadācin nātaṃkaḥ kupita iva paśyaty abhimukhaṃ | vidūre dāridryaṃ cakitam iva naśyaty anudinaṃ | viraktā kāṃteva tyajati kugatiḥ saṃgam udayo | na mumcaty abhyarṇaṃ sūhṛd iva jinārcāṃ racayataḥ ǁ 1 ǁ The commentary is: kadācin nāº | jinārcāṃ racayataḥ puruṣasya ātakaḥ ka i kupita iva | yathā kupitaḥ kadācit abhimukhaṃ na paśyati jinārcā racayitiḥ | puruṣasya anudinaṃ niraṃtaraṃ dāridryaṃ vidūre naśyati | daridryaṃ kam iva cakita iva yathā cakitaḥ bhayatrastaḥ anudinaṃ niraṃtaraṃ dūre naśyati janārcā racayaḥ puruṣasya kugatiḥ tiryaggatiḥ saṃgaṃ saṃsargaṃ tyajati kugatiḥ | keva kāṃteva yathā viraktā | kaṃtā saṃgaṃ saṃsargaṃ tyajati | jinārcāṃ racayataḥ | puruṣasya udayaḥ | abhyudayaḥ etāvatā ṛddhivṛddhiḥ abhyarṇa samīpaṃ na muṃcati | udayaḥ ka iva suhṛd iva | yathā suhṛt mitra abhyarṇṇaṃ samīpaṃ na muṃcati ǁ 11 ǁ
