Incipit: [4] prātaḥkāle samutsthāya ślokatrayam idaṃ paṭhet | sarvasiddhir bhavet tasya tuṣṭo bhavati bhāskaraḥ ǁ 4 ǁ iti basuprabhātavidhiḥ | atha mūtrapuriṣotsargāvidhiḥ | tataḥ prātaḥ samutthāya kuryād viṇmūtram eva ca | nairṛtyādiśivrikṣeyam atityābhyadhikaṃ bhuvaḥ ǁ 1 ǁ kṛttvā yajñopavitaṃ tu pṛṣṭataḥ kamvalaṃvitam | viṇmūtraṃ tu gṛhī kuryād yad vā karṇṇe samāhitaḥ ǁ 2 ǁ viṇmūtreṇa tu karṇas tu āśrame prathamotame | nīvītaḥ pṛṣṭataḥ kuryād vānaprasthagṛhasthayoḥ ǁ 3 ǁ aṃtarddhāya nṛṇair bhūmi śiraḥ prāvṛtya vāsasā | vācaṃ niyamya yatnena ṣṭīvanośvāsavarjjitaḥ ǁ 4 ǁ utsare maithune caiva prasnāve daṃtadhāvane | snāne bhojanakāle ca ṣaṭsu maunaṃ samācaret ǁ 5 ǁ saṃdhyayor ubhayor jāpye bhojane daṃtadhāvane | pitṛkārye ca daive ca tathā mūtrapurīṣayoḥ ǁ 6 ǁ gurūṇāṃ saṃnidhau dāne yoge caiva viśeṣataḥ | eṣu maunaṃ samātiṣṭan svargaṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ ǁ 7 ǁ ubhe mūtrapurīṣe tu divā kuryād udaṅmukhaḥ | dakṣiṇābhimukho rātrau saṃdhyayaś ca yathā divā ǁ 8 ǁ
