Manusmṛtidharmāḥ (ff. 1–14), being extracts from the twelve books of the Mānavadharmaśāstra, intended to give the laws of Manu in a nutshell (saṃkṣepeṇa). Beginning:
Incipit: oṃ namaḥ | śrīsarasvatīrthapāya paramāgurave ǁ svasty astu ǁ prajābhyaḥ ǁ oṃ namo vighnahantre ǁ śreyase ǁ śrībhavānyai namaḥ ǁ atha Manusmṛtidharmāḥ ǁ ǁ prathamādhyāye ǁ ǁ oṃ āsīd idaṃ | &c.
Explicit: iti śrīmanusmṛtidharmāḥ saṅkṣepeṇoktāḥ likhitāḥ ceti śubhaṃ bhavatv asmākaṃ sarveṣāṃ ǁ
