History
according to the Āśīrvada, written after saṃvat 1400: saṃvatsareṣu caturdaiaśateṣu amukaḍāvarṣe | Destoor Jamaspji in a letter quoted by Geldner, l. c., says it is customary even in printed texts merely to give the century. Saṃvat 1400 is properly = a. d. 1344, so that the MS. was written before 1444; in any case it must be very close to the date of Neryosaṅgh himself. Cf. H 2 (Geldner, p. iii), which is dated a. d. 1415.
