History

Origin: 1786?

f. 129: dorgogaṃdḣarvvatuṃjīramaṇaśubhaśake vatsare krodhanākhye yāmye gole ’harīśe sukṛtiśubhaphale mārgaśīrṣe site ca pakṣe | What this means is not at all clear, perhaps saṃvat 1792 (=A. D. 1736) is meant, since śake sometimes merely means year. But vatsare makes this difficult.

Purchased in 1886 (no. 12).
